 What a great night it was!  It started with a little bit of Horseshoe chucking:

Hansa soon got the message that it wasn't a game of fetch!

We had a band and a Caller:

Followed by some dancing:

...and an auction that raised £161 for the GHC.  The main prize was generously donated by Gary and Maureen - that went for £90!!!

There was a Bean Counting contest:

...and then some more dancing.  Some people were really getting into the swing (Quite literally) of things as you will see from the following photos.  Many thanks to Leonie for volunteering to be official cameraperson last night.

We also had a Best Dressed couple award which was won by Q & Gayle followed closely by Merv and Morag:

Many thanks to the Social Committee (and others - you know who you are!) for putting this on and also to Gerald and Nigel and their respective teams for making the evening such a success.

 Charlie and Ems dropped in for a visit today.  They are both very keen on flying and I hope to facilitate that VERY soon.

I am also setting up a scheme to make it easlier for Treloars students to come up and visit the best Gliding Club in the world.

Toby Wegg,  on the Friday night group had a very successful  time last week.  On Wednesday he passed his driving test and on Friday he was sent Solo.  Toby who is 17 is learning to glide as part of his Duke of Edinburgh award.
