After taking delivery of our brand-new K21-B from the Schleicher factory in Germany last month, we are excited to announce that the paperwork is complete and our new K21-B took its first flight last Friday!
This addition marks our 6th K21 and our 2nd K21-B. This slightly revised version maintains the well-tested design of the K21, with a few minor refinements such as self-connecting controls, a more spacious cockpit, and a better roll rate.
Moreover, this glider includes the option for hand-rudder controls for both the front and rear pilots, making it fully accessible for those with limited or no use of their legs. We are proud to now have 2 accessible K21s in our fleet.
